Fundraising
We rely totally on donations. Fundraising activities support the important work that is undertaken by the Khasdobir project in Sylhet. Following the COVID 19 crisis we now organize a programme of virtual events including virtual treks in Sylhet and cultural performances by the children and young people from the project. Participants are encouraged to donate.
We still receive support from groups such as Schools, Churches or Choirs and these are of vital importance as we continue to fund the project in Sylhet. As you’ll see from the figures detailed below, every single pound you donate makes a huge difference:

We welcome the special relationship we have with local Bangladeshi restaurants whose owners are happy for us to host fundraising meals on their premises. Most of the staff in these restaurants actually come from Sylhet, where the project is based, and many are familiar with the work done.
